At Layo Beach
Sol thought that he was working with Teeny and Kishan but that was clearly not the case. Apparently he was told that they’d be voting out Rome.
Teeny admits to Sol that she voted for him, and later tells us it’s because she couldn’t stand to vote for Aysha. This frustrates Teeny because she thought she’d come out and be a bad-ass villain.
A villain named Teeny?! C’mon! We need that!
Sol lets her off the hook, saying it’s just a game.
Later on, Rome makes the point that he can use his Steal-a-Vote to nullify Sol’s Shot-in-the-Dark. He then says if they go back to Tribal, he’s 110% positive that it’ll be Sol.
Good thing “Survivor” producers don’t love having predictions come back to bite people.
The tribe goes on a little idol hunt and Rome tries to convince Sol that it’s a bad look for him to be out searching. Kishan feeds into this, trying to get Rome and Sol to stay at odds.
Sol tries to get a minute alone, but Rome refuses. It is awkward. This actually makes Genevieve second guess her alliance with Rome.
At Gata Beach
We meet up with the tribe and Sam is freestyle rapping.
I’m sorry…I’m gonna need a minute…
OK, I’m good.
Oh my gosh, what if final immunity is an “8 Mile” rap battle between Sam and Rome?! With Probst as Cheddar Bob?!
Sierra is still concerned that the other tribes think she’s in a showmance with Sam. Well, once they hear him rap, they’re all gonna want him too.
So, she’s making an effort to get closer to Anika and Rachel. They come up with the name, “The Breadwinners.”
Love it. All alliances need names. This is the only part of “Big Brother” that is better than “Survivor.”
After this alliance is made, Rachel says that her game couldn’t be going better.
Good thing “Survivor” producers don’t love having predictions come back to bite people.
We later learn that Andy’s Shot-in-the-Dark fell out of his bag and he didn’t know it. Sam hooks him up, by telling him where it is.
Sam says that Andy is basically “Survivor” George Costanza in that he should do the opposite of everything he’s doing.
We then get a good example of this when Sierra tells Andy that she’s in an alliance called the Bread Winners, and to not tell anyone. And then he promptly tells Sam.
CUT TO: Sam asking Sierra why she didn’t tell him about the Bread Winners.
YOU’RE KILLING INDEPENDENT, ANDY!
At Tuku Beach
Sue’s having a rough time, but Kyle and Gabe are trying to cheer her up. She lets us know that she claiming to be 45 even though she’s really 58.
I’d believe it. I’m so bad with ages.
Sue discovers the Beware Advantage later that morning. She’s led to cut a rope, which drops a whole container of red paint on the ground.
OK, that’s funny. Golf clap for the production team.
In the paint she finds a full powered idol. However, grabbing it leaves her…red handed.
She tries to hide the red paint-covered leaves…and she thinks she did a great job. But Tiyana immediately notices red paint on her face…and hands…and hair.
Immunity Challenge Time: The tribes will roll a heavy cube and use it to retrieve two bags. The pieces inside the bags will be used to create a window frame. They’ll toss sandbags through a frame and onto a barrel. If they knock over the frame, they’ll have to rebuild it and try again. They’ll then dig up a key, open a gate, then complete a fire puzzle. The first two tribes to finish the puzzle will win immunity. The winning tribe will receive three egg-laying hens. The second tribe gets some eggs.
Note: The tribes can eat these hens because Sia isn’t giving out money anymore.
Result: They all get to the puzzle at around the same time and…Lavo…is pooping the bed. Rome is having no luck, and won’t tag out when Sol offers to assist.
Are they throwing it?
Anywho, Gata takes first place and Tuku claims second. Gata gets to send someone from each tribe on a journey. They choose Andy, Teeny, and Caroline.
Hmm…if I was Gata, I’d be suspect of Sam sending Andy on an advantage adventure.
A Bird in the Hand
We meet up with Gata (minus Andy) and there’s already a controversy over what to do with the hens. Rachel and Sam are ready to fry one up, however, Sierra plays the role of new-era Tai and pledges her love to her feathered friends.
The Island of Excessive Advantages
The trio has a chat before the challenge, with Caroline saying the bros originally ran the show and Andy admitting that he’s on the bottom. Teeny thinks it’ll be other Sol or Rome going home tonight.
They’re told to turn over a sand timer, then read a note. If one person agrees to lose their next vote, all three players will get an advantage. If they can’t decide by the time the timer runs out, they’ll all lose their votes.
Teeny trusts her alliance enough to make the sacrifice. So, all three players receive amulet idols. The idols aren’t useful until everyone is living on the same beach. The amount of amulets remaining in the game must be used at the same time on the same person.
When they return to their beaches, Caroline and Andy both tell the truth about what happened.
Pre-Tribal Politicking
Rome feels bad about failing the puzzle as he sees himself as someone who can come through in the clutch. Honestly, good on him for owning it. It’d be real easy to say it was an intentional move to get rid of Sol.
The plan is to vote for Sol, and see if there’s a way to get him to buy into a plan so Rome doesn’t have to use his Steal-a-Vote. Rome is going to threaten to steal Sol’s vote if he doesn’t hand over his Shot-in-the-Dark. Then, they’ll vote for Genevieve together.
Otherwise, he’ll just steal Sol’s vote and he’ll be gone.
Well, this makes no sense. You’re forcing him to vote with you? And taking his Shot-in-the-Dark? Why not just play the Steal-a-Vote on Genevieve if you want her gone?
Sol, rightfully, takes this as a threat. Although, Rome tells him it’s an ultimatum.
If he sticks around, Rome is going to be an all-time character.
And he might not stick around. He’s making Kishan really nervous. Kishan thinks if he can flip the vote that Genevieve will have nowhere to go but to him and Teeny and Sol will be thankful for being saved.
When Teeny returns to the beach, she tells Kishan, Sol, and Genevieve the truth.
Later on, Genivieve is having second thoughts about the Rome plan. She doesn’t like the idea that Kishan seems to be calling the shots. She also doesn’t like the idea that Kishan was the person who came up with the idea to use her as the decoy name.
Before they go to Tribal, Genevieve let’s Rome know that the plan is to get him out.
She also tells Sol what’s happening, and he says that he’s voting for Rome no matter what.
Genevieve says that she can’t get out Kishan without Sol’s vote. But can’t Rome just steal Kishan’s vote, then it’s three for whoever they want?
And all of this is intercut with Kishan bragging that nobody is saying his name and how excited he is for the night’s vote.
Good thing “Survivor” producers don’t love having predictions come back to…etc…etc…
Tribal Time
Sol thinks that Rome’s plan to acquire his Shot-in-the-Dark was clever, but he didn’t like the way he went about it.
Rome admits that the way he approached Sol wasn’t respectful and he has since apologized.
Later on, Sol asks Rome to not steal his vote.
(Oh wow…he’s totally stealing Kishan’s vote, isn’t he?)
And before they head to the booth, Rome steals Kishan’s vote!
Voting Time: No votes are shown.
JPro tallies and returns. He asks if anyone wants to play an idol or an advantage and…nobody does. We’ve got two votes for Kishan, and the fourth person eliminated from “Survivor 47” is…Kishan.
Verdict: Wow…just wow.
I went from me making “Who’s Genevieve?” jokes in my exit interview, to her pulling off a very impressive move.
A+: Genevieve - Again…wow. Every member of her tribe should now be indebted to her. And yeah, that can backfire, but for now she’s getting that big A+.
A-: Caroline - We haven’t seen much from her, but I don’t know how she could’ve played that advantage summit better. Well done.
B: Rome - I’m gonna give Rome some grief for how gruffly he played the Steal-a-Vote thing with Sol, but kudos to him for being able to pivot when he saw the writing on the wall.
B: Sam - He seems to be making the right moves (aside from that rap) but he needs to get Andy and Sierra on the same page. They’re gonna self-destruct with this game of telephone.
B: Teeny - I think you made the right move at the excursion, and I don’t think anything that happened to Kishan is your fault. You’ll probably be fine.
B-: Sol - You survived a vote that easily could’ve been you, but I feel like the game is just happening to you at this point.
B-: Sue - Kudos on finding that idol, but was it more important to hide the paint splatter or to get the paint off of you? One lets the tribe know something is up. The other lets the tribe know you’re hiding something.
C+: Andy - On the ropes? Someone willing to work with you tells you a secret? Immediately tell someone else? A bad look. Although, he did do well on the advantage adventure.
C: Sierra - Between being the hen defender (DefHENder?) and letting out an alliance name that could get you into hot water, you didn’t have the best episode.
Incomplete: Kyle, Gabe, Tiyana, Rachel, and Anika - I can’t grade you if you don’t show your work.
Welp, that’s it! Check out my exit interview with Kishan on YouTube tomorrow.

Great job with the recap!
The intention with threatening the Steal a Vote on Sol was that if Rome really believed that Sol bought the plan that it would be Genevieve and planned to vote for her, he might be able to save his Steal a Vote for later
